Sweet Tooth Palooza Cookies
Greetings from the Ozarks, not the Missouri side
where the cool cats live but here in Arkansas where no one’s in a hurry and
everyone knows your name. You know that
song by Miranda Lambert about everyone dying famous in a small town? That would
be us. Thankfully my daughter’s claim to
fame is nothing scandalous and fun to make.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda (I use baking powder)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- ½ bag chocolate chips
- Small bag (small size) Reese’s peanut butter cups
- Chocolate M&M’s (1/2 a medium size bag)
- Three or four shakes of Kraft Jet-Puffed Mallow Bits
Directions
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl and set aside.

In a small bowl break up Reese’s (try not to eat too many)
add M&M’s, chocolate chips and the Kraft Jet-Puffed Mallow Bits. Set aside
and DON’T touch… ok just a few.
In a large bowl beat soft butter, granulated sugar, brown
sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Stir in what you
haven’t eaten from the candy bowl.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto an ungreased baking sheet.
BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. It’s a good idea to let them cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes and then remove to wire racks to cool completely. That’s doesn’t happen at my house. Enjoy! They taste like hot chocolate and go great with milk.
