Pull Apart Pizza Bread

Missy, here. My daughter saw this wonderful cheesy bread on Pinterest, and we went searching for links to find the recipe. Here's the link where we finally found the recipe--at Sweet and Simple Living.. The blogger said she's found most people recommend using pizza dough instead of canned biscuit dough. But we had already bought our ingredients. After trying it, I too would recommend using pizza dough if you can get it.

Also, this is a similar recipe Virginia shared. We tried that one, too, and really liked it!

Pull Apart Pizza Bread
Adapted from Sweet and Simple Living

2 cans of biscuit or pizza dough (I used Grands biscuit dough)
2 cups mozzarella cheese (I used 4 cheese Italian and cheddar which I had on hand)
1 cup parmesan cheese
2 TBS. parsley flakes (dried)
1/3 cup olive oil
8 oz. pepperoni (I have no idea how much I used. I just tossed in what looked good to me)
1/2 tsp minced garlic

Preheat oven to 350
Spray your Bundt pan with cooking spray

Cut dough into quarters.
Chop pepperoni.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and toss to make sure all the pieces of dough are coated. Don't skimp on the cheese! I didn't measure mine, and didn't use enough. It turned out a little bit dry in places.

Put in the pan.

Bake about 30 minutes until DONE IN MIDDLE. Ours was still grossly doughy at 30 minutes. The recipe says to add 5 more minutes, but I ended up adding at least 10 more, for a total of 40-45 minutes. While still warm, flip out onto a plate. It'll be golden and crispy!

Peel off pieces and enjoy!

  1. the link to Virginia's isn't working - sounds good but I think I need more cheese from looking at the pics- I like nice oozey cheese :-) no bundt pan either so I guess I'm really in pitiful shape LOL!

    1. Thanks, Susanna! I fixed the link. And don't worry about a Bundt pan. You could make it in a regular cake pan. Just bake a shorter time. :)

    2. By cake pan I mean for a sheet cake--like a 9x13 pan.

  2. Oh, this look really yummy! And a much quicker clean up than mine... It was all over the sheet. And the biscuit dough seemed so much sweeter, so I think I'll try pizza dough for sure.

    1. It is quicker, Virginia. But there's no sauce in this one. You can use any sauce as a dipping sauce.
