They serve a fantastic Mushroom Mozza Burger with a sirloin patty piled high with mushrooms, and accompanied by a mound of The. Best. Fries. Ever. In Hawaii I struggled with some of the food. It's a lot like beef, but, um, beefier (?). When it's cooked right (not dry as a bone), it's delicious. I think there...I've never been to Five Guys...<br /><br />I think there was one in Lawrence, when we lived in Kansas, and I think one might be opening in Topeka...but that's all 700 miles away now!<br /><br />We love burgers around here. Love 'em. While we have favorite restaurants (Red Robin, Cheeburger Cheeburger), my favorite is always the Saturday night burger here at home. I use ground round (80% lean), grilled, choice of cheese, onion, lettuce, pickles, choice of mustards (we usually have at least three kinds in the fridge), etc. <br /><br />Everybody builds their own, but the cheese is melted on while the burger is still on the grill.<br /><br />Chips on the side.<br /><br />During the winter we make do with the indoor griddle, but it's just not the same.<br /><br />My grandparents started the Saturday night burger tradition, my parents continued it and now we do it.
