I had such a good time writing this one. :)

What I've usually done when I want to save a recipe is to cut and paste the words only into a Word document. Then I print it (and also save on my computer).

That's so funny about what your dad said! Luckily, the place we were has steps that go halfway down. You cross over a swinging bridge (which is the thing of nightmares for me!). then you can hike down to the bottom--which I haven't done in recent years. I usually poop out and wait for everyone else to come back up. I people watch and do email on my phone. It was an extra step, but we were able to eat in about 4 hours. :)Missy Tippenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05480008023330542958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7945786327884906788.post-90346333868278260752013-04-12T16:03:20.764-04:002013-04-12T16:03:20.764-04:00I'm reading Georgia Sweethearts now! started i...I'm reading Georgia Sweethearts now! started it a couple nights ago I think but haven't had a lot of reading time. so far I think it's my favorite of your books - I really like this heroine but her sister I wanna smack upside the head.

is there an easy way to print/save the recipes ya'll post? this copy/paste with all the pics is good but I'd like to print just the words sometimes :-( and I still think some youtube videos would be cool! :-)

looks like a beautiful place. I remember going with my parents to Petit Jean park in Arkansas and had this brochure of all these hikes and my dad was asking me what I thought I was gonna do and I said well I figured I'd have time for about 5 of the hikes since they were only a mile or two - well he took me to the edge of these trees and said - it's a mile down and up - straight down and straight up - no elevator. I couldn't believe it! I actually started but realized there was no path - had to climb over tree roots and everything. Decided to head back up after about 10 steps and barely made it :-( I ended up doing a 2 mile or so 'hike' along the 'baby path' instead and that was enough scenery for me!

SusannaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7945786327884906788.post-14329470351888870312013-04-12T14:27:15.137-04:002013-04-12T14:27:15.137-04:00Gorgeous place, Missy. I can't imagine having snow that's hanging on. In fact, I can't imagine snow at all at this point. We never had a single flake this winter!

I'm sending warm thoughts your way! I vaguely remember what seeing green and...well, actual pavement...but it's such a distant memory. And look at you (and the wildlife) without a coat on. No mitts either. Or a hat. And your nose isn't red. No scarf around your neck. Can't imagine what that feels like. Bet your sun is warm too. And you actually have one! I think I'm more astonished by all that than the goats on the roof! Can you tell I'm in the midst of a major winter storm up here? And I mean major. Oh my stars, we have a farm about an hour away with goats that climb on this roof.... and have an elevator.... and they ring the bell for food... and it's hysterical!!! Mountain goats are at the heart of all roof climbers, I guess!

Love this!

And your fearsome fauna is pretty darn cute!Ruth Logan Hernehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11550734775151341968noreply@blogger.com
